Facebook continues to be the social network with the largest number of active users per month. According to Hootsuite data, some 2,167 million users interact on Facebook.
YouTube follows with 1,500 million users and the third place is occupied by WhatsApp.
Fox News is the most popular American media outlet on Facebook.
This is demonstrated by the fact that its publications collect 2,400 million monthly reactions, from all users who follow their profile or consult its content.
These data confirm the power that social networks have achieved, becoming an essential communication channel for any person, company or brand with a digital presence.
Despite its power and functionality, we must bear in mind that social networks are a business that seeks profitability and, although they are free, they are nourished by the personal data that we allow them to access.
This does not mean that they are bad or good, only that we must be aware of the permits we give them and the use they can make of our information.
